The Ilmberger carbon lower tank cover for the BMW R 1300 GS is the perfect upgrade for those who value sporty and elegant design

This cover forms the lower part of the two-piece side tank cover and occupies a central position on the motorcycle. Due to its highly visible location, it is a real eye-catcher and elevates the look of your BMW to a new level. The use of carbon gives the cover a light, yet elegant and high-quality appearance. Enjoy the sporty flair and luxurious look of this Ilmberger carbon lower tank cover for your BMW R 1300 GS. The name Ilmberger stands for the highest quality and innovation in carbon manufacturing. Each part is produced in-house, using prepreg specially developed for Ilmberger as the base material. This is processed in a complex procedure in an autoclave, offering numerous advantages. Prepreg, a pre-impregnated carbon fabric, is characterised by an even resin distribution while also having a high fibre volume content. This results in maximum strength and increases the flexibility of the components. Processing in an autoclave, a high-pressure oven that operates under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, ensures perfect, even curing and a flawless surface. This method prevents air pockets in the material and ensures consistently high quality of the parts.
