The axle protectors ensure that, in the event of a tip-over or fall, the swingarm, wheel axle, and chain tensioning system are effectively protected from damage.

The protectors create distance between these components and the ground during point or sliding contact, thereby reducing or preventing costly damage to the motorcycle. In addition to our choice of material, we have structurally integrated two key specific features – damping and progressively increasing friction resistance – which we have tested under racing conditions.

The first key feature is the damping effect, which can fully or partially absorb impact energy in the event of sudden force.Friction resistance:The second key feature is friction resistance, which increases from the outside in due to the geometry of the component and the expanding effective sliding surface. This means that under light contact the axle protector offers low resistance, but in the case of prolonged sliding on the road, it significantly shortens both the duration and distance of the slide. In other words, in the event of a fall, the time and distance the motorcycle slides are both reduced.

For optimal protection of your machine, we recommend combining our axle protectors with our vehicle-specific crash bar systems, for which we also offer additional model-specific protector pads.
