The bolt-on kit literally bolts on and usually mounts around the head tube. Beta 450 RR Stabilizer Kit - Top Mount (No Damper):

This application requires the damper be fitted with a plus 8mm stepped link arm. The link arm and puller to remove existing arm are included in this kit.
